Call me: 07714 239644
I am a Chartered Physiotherapist and graduated from Physiotherapy College in 1985. After an initial three years of broad-based orthopaedic experience in the Midlands and 1 year at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester, I spent twelve years working, at a senior level, with all musculoskeletal problems at Alton Community Hospital (formally Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital); This was largely with an emphasis on knees and lower limb work, but throughout with a special interest in hands and splinting.

Since 2001 I have been working with several well-known upper limb surgeons, including The Hand Clinic, at the Wessex Nuffield Hospital, Chandlers Ford, to help manage and develop a comprehensive rehabilitation service for their patients.

I have been involved with lecturing on a local level and am a qualified Hand Therapist (level 2) and a member of the British Association of Hand Therapists (BAHT). I was involved with the development of Hampshire Hand Therapy and I am a member of the Wessex Hand Therapy Group. In addition in 2005 I started my own practise from the fitness gym at the golf club in Blacknest, moving to a purpose built facility at our home in Bentley in October 2014.
I use a range of standard electrotherapy, manual technique; teach appropriate exercise and stretching procedures as well as using appi’ pilates principles. I also offer acupuncture for pain relief and am a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

I adhere to complete confidentiality and communicate effectively with other medical colleagues, with commitment to the highest standards of patient care.
